Belanger Youth Athletic Facility is a playground and athletic complex managed by the City of Pittsfield. The facility is perfect for a short day of outdoor recreation in the Berkshires. Upon arrival at the parking lot, visitors will find a walking/running track. This pathway circumnavigates the park, providing an excellent space for a low-impact workout.
Within the walking track, visitors will see a youth soccer field and a baseball field. These fields are ideal for both competitive team play and individual practice on warm summer days in Western Massachusetts. There are also stadium lights, which allow games to continue into the evenings.
Visitors will find bathroom facilities and a little free library closer to the parking lot. There is also a wood-chipped playground, great for young kids of all ages.
A parking area is off Newell Street, just before it intersects with East Street. The small parking lot is accessible at an entrance across from Lombard Street.
