Alford Town Park is a small, family-friendly field and play area near the Alford Town Offices. The park, overall, is ideal for a short picnic in the Berkshires. Upon arrival, visitors will find a small playground in between two quaint buildings. The play area features a swing set and a slide, great for young children. There is also a sizable field for picnics throughout the year's warmer months. In the summer, a tall tree in the park provides shade. Then, when autumn arrives in Western Massachusetts, the lawn becomes blanketed by a colorful carpet of leaves.
A small parking lot, with a little free library, is located directly in front of the Alford Center Cemetery. Visitors can walk up the steps toward the town offices and find the playground beyond the building.

Parking for the Alford Town Park can be found in a small, flat, and paved lot that sits in front of the Alford Town Hall. There is one accessible parking space that provides adjacent access to the small cemetery on the property, although it is not the closest parking space to the Town Park. There are five other paved parking spaces in the lot. Access to the town park can be achieved through a short grassy hill on an 11% grade, or via a short stone staircase that ascends the same hill. Playground features rest over woodchips and are separated by grass.
