About Williamstown Skate Park

The Williamstown Skate Park is located on Stetson Road, adjacent to Cole Field at Williams College. The park is equipped with different ramps and rails, providing several opportunities for bike, skateboard, and scooter tricks. Specific features include a half pipe, quarter pipes, and multiple wedges, with rails on the lips of each, and additional upward and downward rails. Besides the abundant features, a large space on the asphalt serves beginner skaters or provides a flat and open area for other skating or scootering.

Part of the open space adjacent to the ramp features a picnic table for visitors to rest or eat a snack. Also noteworthy is the Mohican Trail running alongside the skatepark, which can be an additional biking and skating option. Similarly, Stetson Road is very quiet and smooth, which can also be utilized as a resource alongside the skatepark.

While the Williamstown Skatepark provides essential features for freestyle skateboarders and bikers, there is a push to rebuild and improve the current skatepark. Williamstown is working alongside a local outdoor recreation group to collect opinions and ideas for a new skate park. The attached website provides more information about the project and a survey to share ideas for the future park.
