About Tracy Brook Wildlife Management Area

Tracy Brook Wildlife Management Area offers a unique opportunity for wildlife viewing in the Berkshires. The sanctuary, located on Swamp Road in Richmond, is a wetland surrounded by woodlands. The wetland is home to beavers and herons. The sanctuary is known for its large heron rookery, visible from the pull-off on the road. The rookery is filled with life in the spring when the herons are raising their young. It is an amazing experience to witness.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on this property.
