About The Dark Side
The Dark Side is a bouldering destination for local rock climbers. The huge boulders, scattered across a large area, allow climbers various technical opportunities. The boulders are on East Mountain State Forest, but access is through the Southern Berkshire Friends Meeting property, which requests that visitors email the friends before arrival. Climbers will have to trek about ¾ of a mile through the woods to the boulder field.
