About McCallister Park and Wildlife Refuge

McCallister Park offers fantastic views of the Taconic Mountains from a wide-open field. The large field provides unparalleled views to the west and calls you to sit in the grass and contemplate nature. The field allows visitors to run around, throw a frisbee, or fly a kite. Locals also frequent the park, as you can follow a trail down to the shores of the Green River, a popular place to take a dip in the river during a hot summer day.

Parking is available along Haley Road.
