Sheep Hill Birding: Fall Migration

Join Williamstown Rural Lands board member Tommy Richey for a leisurely birding experience at Sheep Hill on September 21 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. This walk will start at the farmhouse (671 Cold Spring Rd., Williamstown) looking for birds in the willows around Josiah’s Pond and the wetlands boardwalk before continuing a short way (< 0.25 miles) along the Sheep Hill trails. Target birds include warblers (without their colors) and other fall migrants headed south along with the American kestrel, field sparrows, and maybe a glimpse of our leucistic catbird.
