Guided Hike: Solstice Evening Hike

Join Williamstown Rural Lands committee member Jeff Strait on June 19 from 7 – 8:45 p.m. for this moderate 1.5 mile hike to view the sunset just before the summer solstice. Follow along the Taconic Crest Trail and down the Shepard’s Well Trail through beautiful woods and see spectacular open views east towards Mount Greylock. Meet at the large parking lot at Petersburg Pass on Route 2 just across the New York State border. This hike will be at a leisurely pace, suitable for both experienced and inexperienced hikers who are confident walkers and will finish just before dark.
