Birding for beginners in Adams | Hoffmann Bird Club

New to birding? Not sure where to start? This session will start with a discussion on basic tools, practices, and strategies for identifying birds and connecting with your local environment. We will then stake a short walk to put what you’ve learned into practice.
- This workshop is meant for those new to birding who want to learn more about how to engage with the world of birds.
- Advance RSVP required, limited to 5 participants. RSVP below.
- What to bring: sturdy shoes, water, and binoculars if you have them. Binoculars will be available to borrow during the workshop.
- The trail is a packed gravel path. It is wide and fairly flat; a 1.7 mile loop.
- Meet at the entrance to the Greylock Glen Outdoor Center, 135 Gould Road, Adams, MA 01220
