Birding & Biking on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail | Hoffmann Bird Club

Join us as we search for migrating fall birds while bicycling along the paved Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. The trail is very low grade and paved.

• Meet in Cheshire at Farnam’s Causeway Road. This is north of Whitney’s Farm & Garden Center, mid-way down Cheshire Reservoir.
• What to bring: a bike, helmet, binoculars, water, and a snack if you would like.
• The trip will go north to the “Jungle” and back (approximately 6 miles)
• If you wish, you may bring a lunch. You can leave it in your car in a cooler while you bike. There are picnic tables and facilities at Farnam’s Crossing.
