Birding & Biking on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail | Hoffmann Bird Club

Join us as we search for migrating fall birds while bicycling along the paved Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. The trail is very low grade and paved.

Meet in Cheshire at Farnam’s Causeway Road. This is north of Whitney’s Farm & Garden Center, mid-way down Cheshire Reservoir.

What to bring: a bike, helmet, binoculars, water, and a snack if you would like.
The trip will go north to the “Jungle” and back (approximately 6 miles)

If you wish, you may bring a lunch. You can leave it in your car in a cooler while you bike. There are picnic tables and facilities at Farnam’s Crossing.
