DESCRIPTION:Get crafty with your family and help improve wildlife habitat in your neighborhood. This hands-on workshop will teach you where and how to place nest boxes in ideal habitats to attract nesting birds during the breeding season. As a family\, use simple hand tools to build one of our pre-cut kits and take your box home at the end. No experience is necessary\, and all tools and materials are provided. \nNest boxes are suitable for Eastern Bluebirds and other small\, cavity-nesting species such as Tree Swallows\, House Wrens\, Black-capped Chickadees\, Tufted Titmice\, and White-breasted Nuthatches. \nThis is an all-indoor program designed for families with children. Each registration requires at least one adult and one child.

DESCRIPTION:The busy beavers of Pleasant Valley have left behind clues about where they’ve been working. Practice your nature sleuthing skills as you venture along the trails with your family in search of places where the beavers have chopped down trees\, maintained their dams\, added to their lodges\, and more. \nThis is a program designed for families with children. Each registration requires at least one adult and one child. This program covers up to 1 mile of gravel-paved or unsurfaced trails containing a mix of flat ground\, gradual slopes\, and one or two hills. The trail surface contains exposed tree roots and rocks. Recent weather could make the trail muddy\, wet\, or slippery.
